The Gerichs Family

I kind of pride myself on finding locations that are often new and unique and non-recognizable. I was soooo excited when I scouted this location on a week day afternoon to find it beautiful and people-free. Score! And then we went there on a Sunday afternoon … errrrch! There were two other photographers and about a hundred walkers/bikers on the green belt that day, and needless to say we had to keep moving out of the way for fear of being run over. I seriously don’t even know how I managed to get the ones I did with all the distractions. Sydney, who will turn 3 on New Year’s, was so excited about her new dress and kept running in and out of the photos in true Sydney fashion … and Grampa was on the scene making faces at her as well, so she was a silly-box — which is the main thing I love about that girl. Little Simone (21 pounds) is 6 months and a little more serious in front of a camera, but she’ll learn. 🙂 Even though I was frustrated by the limitations of the space, it was still a beautiful place, a warm day, and I was with my family … win-win-win. Love you kids!

No wonder those G-babes are good looking. Just look at their parents.

The combination of the subjects and the photographer produced perfection, again! I love the BW photo of Syd, Meg’s silly face and Simone eating the leaves!

There’s only one big problem with these pictures.

I now need 8 more frames. Good thing I have mass amounts of wall space.

Love your talent, love that you always make time to take our photos.

Thanks everybody! I love photographing my family! Sydney was a little stinker, running here or there in and out of the pictures, but I love her energy, and she’s at that age where we can say “don’t smile … don’t do it” and you get the best smile ever. I love her joyfullness. These pictures make me happy to see my daughter’s beautiful face. She and Robby make such a handsome couple and I couldn’t ask for more. My luvin’ cup runneth over!
