On Valentine’s Day, I got to watch the boys after we all met for a LOVEly lunch. Since Jayden had recently turned 10 months, I took advantage of a photo op since he is officially a walker now. He took his first steps at 9 months and at this session, he was confident standing alone and taking 7-8 steps by himself. As I write this, he walks much further and rarely crawls any more. Such LOVEy kids, he and MJ. I had MJ for a playdate on Monday and while his mom was out securing my car seat in our car, he looked up at me and told me he was so “sec cited”. Then he told me we could go someplace else if I wanted to, (take a hint Gramma) so of course I wanted to go to Jump Time, only to find out it didn’t open until 4:00 and it was only 2:00. “I see yites in there Gramma. Call them and tell them we are outside and I’ll bet they’ll yet us in.” Nobody answered. Wink. So I then thought of Game World for the miniature bowling alley they offer little kids. We went … they were out of business. Double wammie. So we then went to Edwards movie theater and found that their car racing video games had money in them — or so that’s what MJ thought because the promo kept playing over and over, and he was thrilled that he got to race so many times. Of course I was racing next to him, and of course he always beat me cause that kid is so fast. 😉 We then played some air hockey and were off to the rest of our day. I look forward to these same one-on-one times with the little g-babes as they get older, but for now the big ones sure keep me entertained.
This little Radio Flyer was a gift to my son on his 1st Birthday.
