This is Rhett Nicholas. He was born on April 3, three days after his due date, and are you ready for this? … he was 11.6 lbs and 22″ at birth! He is 12 days old in this post and isn’t he just a doll! When his Grandma Vickie wrote me about taking his newborn shots, she said “now when you meet my grandson don’t think he is three months old!” Seriously folks, what a cutie and oh so sweet. His first time parents, Rachel and Zach, came prepared for a good time. They had hats and props galore. I’ve only shot newborn girls this whole past year so while I have lots of bows, I have very few boy items so I had some serious hat envy going on! We didn’t even use half of them! This baby was pretty darn sweet and don’t you just love all that hair!
My favorite is next … go Big Orange, go Big Blue, Fight Fight, B-S-U! How convenient that my bean bag puck is Boise State blue! 🙂
This next series is for Zach’s dad who played hockey and was the goalie, and these hockey props were the most important part of the photo shoot for Zach. We were just hoping Rhett didn’t poop in his glove! Zach used to be a hockey player too and his number was 24.
I think he’s dreaming of being a big star like you Grandpa!
And being the music buffs that Zach and Rachael are, Rhett is already “plugged in”.
Rachel and Zach, I loved our few hours getting to know each other. I think you were made for this parenting stuff as you both seem so calm and laid-back. It was so nice meeting you both. Congratulations to you and all the grandparents!
