Meet Orlando … Oh So Sweet – But He Wouldn’t Sleep!

Little sweet Orlando Easton (or “Lando” as they call him) was so precious but apparently his momma forgot to tell him he was supposed to sleep during his newborn session. I guess he didn’t want to miss a thing, and as long as he was swaddled, he was quite content. He was just five days old, born February 7 (his due date) at 11:00 PM after a 30 hour labor. He weighed 6.12, was 20″ long and was just a beautiful little guy with all that long dark hair and dark eyes. Congratulations to the parents, Chelsea and Joel, and to first time Grandma, Tammi! All that waiting, but he’s finally here! Most babies get into a deep sleep at some point, but nope, not Lando. And what of all those posed baby shots Chelsea and I had hoped for — the ones in hats and curled naked backsides or prayer hands tucked under his head? Out the window in lieu of his own agenda! His agenda or ours, I think you’ll all agree he’s adorable and I wish his parents sleep and happiness.

He is so handsome! ( I thought all my boys would look that way because of Matt’s coloring. ) I love the way the dark hair frames his tiny face.
