Maren Busacker

This photo session was a long time coming because it was years ago that I made Siri promise me I could take Maven’s senior photos! She’s the oldest of 5 kids and from that first year, the three older girls loved having their photos taken and I loved taking them. The day was finally here … and it started sprinkling on our way to the session. Maren, her mom Siri, littlest sibling Remini, and I just took cover under umbrellas and trees and awnings the best we could but it became apparent the rain was winning out and we had to reschedule. Maren attends Eagle High School, wants to be a kindergarten teacher, and has plans to attend University of Idaho next fall. She loves kids and family and works hard at school (but blames her teachers for not getting any sleep — the plight of a teenager, right). She’s such a sweet and fun girl and I have become so fond of her and her family (who you will see in about three posts from here). Until then, thanks for the double day fun. 🙂

I  asked Maren if there were any particular poses she wanted taken and she said in leaves (above) and on a log. Why on a log I asked? She said she told one of her teachers that she was having senior pictures done and he (she?) said to have one taken on a log because all seniors have one taken on a log. OK? We couldn’t find a log but this great sprawling tree provided the next best thing. 🙂

What a special young lady. She is so Photogenic. Non Smiling pictures are as pretty as the smiling. I hope she has a great Senior year and a Great life.

Thanks so much Tracey and Becky. It always a challenge to never repeat a location for a client over the years – good thing there are so many nice choices in this great town. 🙂 Mary
