Lila’s back! You can see her here at three, here at four, and now she’s five and all dressed up in her new party dress. 🙂 This was my second photo shoot at the Schick-Ostolasa Farmstead at Dry Creek and it couldn’t have been more perfect for Lila and her new dress on a beautiful overcast day. I was in heaven shooting this charismatic little girl. She is just the sweetest thing, smiles and giggles constantly and rarely says a word – although I’m quite sure that’s not the case at home. The rooster was excited to see us and did most of the talking — crowing up a storm at 5:30 PM — but with no neighbors to bother, it was fine. This is a learning farm so there are dozens of chickens, turkeys, goats, and ducks out there. Now onward to this vivacious little Lila (and pretty momma Crystal) and all her sweet faces guaranteed to make you smile.
I try to get a nature shot every photo session, and thought the rooster would have to suffice, but as luck would have it as we were leaving, this dragonfly was just waiting for me. Thank you dragonfly, and thank you Crystal for yet another fun hour with you and one of your kids. You guys always make me smile. 🙂 Mary
