9-½ months. This was supposed to be Cole’s one year photo session, but as baby’s do, they outgrow stuff and Megan was fearful this little outfit wouldn’t last that long (it’s a 12-18 months). The fabulous airplane belongs to Megan’s friend Christine, built by her dad for her to use with her three boys. It’s actually a pedaled riding toy! We had to prop a few books in the seat to raise him up and as you can tell he has his mom’s full attention. He loves his mommy and sometimes turns his back to me if I try and take him from her arms. I don’t take it personally because when Megan isn’t around he does it to Grampa if he tries to take him from my arms. (I love that.) He’s a master crawler and walks along the furniture. He has 6 teeth, three on top and three on the bottom, doesn’t like his face or bottom wiped, and has started throwing little tantrums if he doesn’t get what he wants which is pretty darn cute at this age. His cheeks are always rosy, his eyes so blue, and his smile always contagious. Go ahead, just try not to smile. I dare you. 🙂
This next picture was taken at big sister’s basketball game.
8 months. In an attempt to get Valentine pictures with all the g-babes as I do every year, I tried to fit it in the day before we left for our cruise … last minute after school one day … definitely not my best idea ever. The big kids were distracted by wanting to go eat their Valentine candy and Cole was constantly trying to crawl away so we scrapped it and let the big kids go … but I did get one or two of Cole at 8 months before we called it a wrap.
Have no fear, Big Sister is always near! You’re the best Sydney. Thanks for your ever present help. Love Gramma
