Happy Valentine’s Day to you lovely people everywhere. Here’s my little LOVES sharing special thoughts to their secret Valentines, but first something to help you know them better.

MJ – My oldest love at 5 is a jokester, who talks loud with excitement, and giggles in high pitch from deep within when something tickles his funny bone. He is witty like his dad and loves a good game of Hide and Seek. He loves clothes shopping and gets excited about everything he gets. If he gets new pants, he has to run up and down the isles making sure they fit his “fast legs”. He is strong and athletic, silly and helpful and one of our favorite things to do together is bake cookies.
Jayden – A child with many nicknames (Jay, Jadie Bug, Buggy) is my little mellow yellow blondie. I say that affectionately with tons of love for this little bottle of literalism. He is trusting and excitable and a lover through and through. I’m not sure he has a mean bone in his body. He’s a boy of funny faces that he doesn’t necessarily know he’s making and has a silly side like his dad. I want to freeze him at this age knowing he turns 3 just around the corner in April.
Sydney – A new 5-year old, she is my sweet, curious, social, nurturing, tall spirited girl who takes joy in just about everything around her. Her questions are endless, her game playing skills fierce, and her love of crafts above all else. She is getting at that “proper” stage and loves to pose for her pictures — and get this — she has a camera people! A girl after my own heart. She snuggles like no other, has strong opinions on what she wears, and she loves to laugh like her grampa which endears me to no end.
Simone – She is independent and loving all in a tiny serious box. To see her full big smile come out is a joy to behold. She is in some ways more mature than her age (she turns 3 end of April) in the way she entertains herself, tells stories to her dolls, and in the confidence she carries in knowing what she wants. I am learning more about her every day as she makes me laugh with the things she says and her attitude when things don’t go quite her way. She keeps me guessing and I love the individuality of her.

Here’s hoping you each have a wonderful day shared with people you love and knowing God loves you even more. And because it was a post about love, I had to listen to a little Barry White while posting it. Oh baby. 🙂 Love, Mary/Gramma/Mom
And here’s my daughter being the sport that she is when I asked her to jump in for a picture without being “made up”. She’s 28 weeks with Cole. We have more love coming our way early May!
