Oh this one is quick and fast on her feet! I first photographed Addi when she was one and if you look back here, you will see she was quick then too! She had me on my toes and trying every trick I had. She was so cooperative though and wanted to do everything I asked of her, it’s just that she did them for two seconds and then she was off and running taking in the adventure around her. Luckily I have a fast camera is all I can say. 🙂 I say this with a smile on my face because she was adorable in every way, and so smart too — understandably since her mom is a 9th grade world history teacher. Her eyes are so dark brown it’s hard to separate her pupil from her iris and her love of pink and princesses is just like every other little 3-5 year old girl — all this against her mom’s wishes I might add, but somehow those princesses make their way into their lives against all odds. I brought a princess container from my house to hold the blocks in but she was quite concerned about where the princesses were. When I told her I left them at home, she kept asking me “But why Mary? Why did you not bring them?” Last time I’ll make that mistake when photographing a little girl. Happy birthday Addi (June 15), you are quite the charmer.
Do you know who that is Addi? Yes. Who? I don’t know. Her name is Anne Frank and she lived a long time ago and did really good things to help people. Oh. She sure is a big person, she sure is.
