Dylan [Senior 2016]

There’s something extra special about getting to photograph high school seniors and Dylan was no exception. It’s fun to hear their plans for the future and some of the places and experiences that helped shape their life. For Dylan he grew up near the river and attended Adams Elementary so that’s one of the places we visited. I had a great time with him and his mom, Jen, as they were so easy going and fun to talk with. Jen said Dylan is naturally a happy young man (contrary to some of the more serious images you’ll see) and he had the best hair that handled the intense wind at the end of our session. 🙂 He loves math and science so I’ll bet he’ll do something challenging in his future … but first there’s adventure to be had. Dylan would like to travel and see some of the world and my guess? … he’ll do it. Congratulations on your upcoming Boise High graduation Dylan and my best to you for all your future plans. It was my pleasure meeting you and your mom. 🙂 Mary

The girl in the background startled me when I walked by and noticed her watching us. It was kind of eerie actually … until I realized she was cardboard and then I started laughing. I just had to have Dylan’s picture taken with her even though he didn’t find it as funny as I did. 🙂

I never would have guessed the deer was cardboard, too!

Oh yea, I take cardboard set ups to all my sessions Vince. (You crack me up!)
