Dan and Leah re-married at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Bruneau on June 22 (after marrying in a civil ceremony over a year ago). This little church had me concerned. It was small and dark (but the church let me keep the doors open which helped some — the rest was saved with ISO 6400 and noise reduction software :-)) and there was not much room in between pews and walkways, but it was cute and homey and where Leah attended church growing up. I wasn’t sure where I would stand to photograph the ceremony, without being right in the way of everyone. God always has a plan … and a back door … and that’s exactly what I used once everyone made their procession in. 🙂 Dan and Leah’s little girl, Hannah, and my granddaughter, Sydney, were flower girl and ring bearer, and they did such a great job. The guests were close family members and the ceremony had some traditions in it that were fun and different from other weddings I’ve attended — like everyone hugging before before the kiss. Speaking of the kiss, it was a good one … and long. There was a loud round of applause when they finally finished. Way to keep that love alive Dan and Leah! It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony. Congratulations again!
