Dakota Hunt-Split Session

Dakota is a senior at Mountain View High School and while he hasn’t quite decided what career path he’s going to take just yet, he is very interested in the software part of computers and the video game industry. I did a split session with his big sis, Sierra, a few years back so that’s what we’ll do here as well. In the Spring you’ll find him doing some downtown urban shots. I loved his cool clothes and shoes and he was just pleasant to be around so stay tuned for this handsome young man towards the end of his high school year. Nice hanging out with you again Danette and I’ll see you in the Spring (it’s just too bad we have to go through a long winter to get there). 🙂 Mary

Mary, do you have a preference between black & white and color? All of your work is excellent, of course, but these black and white portraits are just marvelous.

Yes and yes, I prefer black/white AND color. 🙂 Some images lend themselves better to b/w especially if there is a lot of contrast in the image such as bright lights and dark shadows or dark and light clothing, etc. I really love the timelessness of b/w. Thanks Vince. I appreciate you looking in.

My goodness what a handsome young Tall man. He looks so sure of himself. I hope he goes far and is happy in the choice he makes. Can’t wait to see more in the Spring.
