Charly [2013 Senior]

You know that anxious feeling you get just before doing something new and different … wondering if you’ll be good at it? Charly, a senior at Skyview, was nervous about the photo session, but after a few minutes of guiding her with her poses — and a few picture playbacks for her to see what a beauty she was — she was a natural and the nerves were gone. I love getting to meet all the new people I do in photo sessions and I have really enjoyed my sessions with the 2013 seniors. They are just so much fun!!! I get a sense of who they are in such a short time and Charly was awesome. She’s obviously very smart — wanting to go to college in Rhode Island to become either a teacher (like her mom) or a pediatrician. She would be wonderful at either with her soft disposition and winning smile, and her mesmerizing blue eyes and soft freckles only add to that. We went to some great locations that I’ve had scoped out for some time now, just waiting for that perfect person to fill the space — and Charly did me proud. Her mom, Jami, accompanied us and we had a great time spending a couple of hours together. Charly, I wish you the very best of  your senior year … study hard, enjoy those dances, and keep smiling (although I luuuuv your non-smile too). 🙂

Mary, I don’t know which one I like the most. I love the fall leaves in the back ground but I like the railroad tracks and then theres the water and the plain back ground and the window with her reflection. You took some very beautiful pictures with a very beautiful subject. You’re right her eyes are so blue and her hair was so perfect. What a wonderful time you must of had with Charly. Congratulations Charly and have a wonderful Senior Year.

Tracy, thank you so much for that wonderful comment! Charly, Tracy and other co-workers of mine have verbally mentioned how photogenic and beautiful you are. Naturally, I agreed! Mary

Scootch over Hollenbaugh and Zeurcher, there’s a new camera lady in town and WOWZA- she’s stiff competition!!! I am amazed at these- they are by far your best Senior yet. LOVED the originality in the first photo where she is holding her Kindergarten (?) picture and the wheel was awesome, as was the one between two big cylinders and on and on. Love all the amazing backdrops you do- you can tell you do your “scoping” homework and your clients are so lucky that they get unique, original places. Nice work Mama.

OH MY GOSH!!!! Mary these are priceless! This is going to take us forever to pick the ones we want to mount. I have a feeling we are going to need a whole wall of our house dedicated to these. You did an amazing job of capturing my daughter’s personality and nature. I’ve recommended you to everyone I know. You made this monumental event so memorable and now we have the pictures to last a life time. One of my favorites is where she is tossing the water in the air, not because of Charly particularly, but just how you capture the water drops and her beautiful smile all in one shot. We can’t thank you enough!
