Casey – 2016 Senior

Meet Casey, a handsome blonde haired, navy-blue eyed, seventeen year old LaCrosse playing, Cross-County loving Patriot attending Centennial High and set to graduate 2016. Wait, there’s more. He’s also the youngest of three in the family and the first who will go on a mission after his graduation — destination unknown at this point. Wait, there’s even […]

CASEY! Parker played lacrosse on the same team last year! What a small world. Casey is the sweetest kid but on the field, watch out! He was the only player on the team to out-score Parker. I love these pictures. Perfectly handsome and masculine and even some love for mom.

Fairly Candid - November 12, 2015 - 11:13 AM

Small world is right. I’ll be sure Cody reads your comment. She’ll beam even more than usual. Casey will love hearing that too and congrats to Parker for being so aggressive on the field too. 🙂

Cody Myers - November 16, 2015 - 1:41 PM

Oh Aubrey it is a small world! I will tell Casey about your nice comment! He and Parker were sure fun to watch in lacrosse 🙂 Can’t believe we have a senior, boy does time fly! :)Mary does such a great job, she is very talented indeed 🙂

Sarah [2015 Senior]

I just love photographing high school seniors and Sarah is my first this year. There’s just something extra special about getting to see a tiny insight into who they are and who they might become that makes the session extra special for me. For the parents that come along, there’s a pride of a child well […]

She is a stunning young lady! Truly!

Fairly Candid - May 1, 2015 - 3:28 PM

I don’t know who you are but I love your “lady in red” email address. 🙂 And I agree, Sarah is a very pretty young lady. Thank you for visiting the blog and leaving a comment. Mary

Lynnette - May 9, 2015 - 2:23 PM

Sarah is my cousin Darlene’s granddaughter. I am in awe of her beauty and your artistry n capturing that beauty! Lovely pictures!

The Seifrit Family [2015 Senior/Family Combo]

I am going to start this post off in a most unusual way and say that I believe in God in case you didn’t know that about me. It’s a small world (after all) and God allows His mysterious ways to bring us joy in … well … mysterious ways! Take for example this note […]

Dear Mary,
These are WONDERFUL!!!! Thank you for everything! We have not had any families pictures taken since 2006, when Hannah was about 4 years old. So, we have NONE with little Melody. So, having family portraits taken were long overdue, and you made it so incredibly easy, fun, and extra special! We just cannot thank you enough for what you have done!

The Seifrit Family

Christina Seifrit - November 13, 2014 - 2:56 PM

…And thank you for Michael’s Senior Portraits! I could not be happier about how they turned out! He looks so grown up, but I still cant stop thinking about him as an itty bitty toddler. Thank you, again. Oh, and Sam has already requested that you do HIS Senior Portraits. 🙂

Fairly Candid - November 16, 2014 - 6:48 PM

Well, what a way to bless my day! Thank you for you sweet comment and for the one about Michael as well. For those of you reading this, I asked Christina, Eric, and Michael to all yell “Senior” in the shot with just the three of them. Christina started to cry. Oh no! But it was just all that love and memories that sits right there at the top of our mind with our first senior. I just love love. Don’t you! (PS and tell that handsome Sam that I would love to shoot his senior pictures! I won’t even think of retirement till he is done. Wink)

Trent [2015 Senior]

If you know much about my photography you probably know I absolutely LOVE photographing high school seniors! They are so much fun and it’s exciting to hear about their school activities and what they have planned after high school. Trent did not disappoint and was just as handsome, easy to work with, and as fun as his big […]

Where was Fairly Candid when I was a senior in High School? I want a senior portrait session do over.

Madeline (2014 Senior)

Meet Madeline Wall, a beautiful senior of Rocky Mountain High (flashbacks of John Denver seem to be flooding my brain) who has aspirations of furthering her education in the medical field after high school. Madeline, her sister Alex (see her July 2012 senior pics here), mom Stacy, and grandma Mary (a good friend of mine who owns […]

Mary Kuehn - September 20, 2014 - 9:07 PM

Fantastic! Thank so much what a fun morning that was. Now my next grand child is 7 years away. But I know you will do them.

Tracey - September 22, 2014 - 8:42 AM

What a beautiful young woman. Hope she is as pretty on the inside as she is on the out. Very nice photos Mary. Colors are really nice that she chose to wear.

Megan - September 28, 2014 - 2:06 PM

LOVE the one of her walking in the street- looks like an ad for Urban Outfitters or something young and hip like her.

And that hair. Oh how I am green with envy for those long locks!

Tony [2014 Senior]

Tony is a senior at Frank Church School and quite the funny guy. He had me laughing and shaking my head (as in “no I won’t take that picture!”). He’s the youngest of five siblings so he’s had to learn to defend himself and humor is always the best medicine, right? His mom says he loves […]

Proud momma I see. Just as it should be. 🙂 It was my fun to get to do it for you Gayla.

Fairly Candid - May 13, 2014 - 7:12 AM

What a nice surprise to have your comment Becky. Thank you.

Morgan [2014 Senior]

Morgan made all the arrangements to book our session … signs of a pretty responsible teen I’d say. She’s a senior at Skyview and has been on the dance team since her freshman year. She was awesome to work with and had such beautiful defined movements and lines in her posing, natural beauty (just a […]

Thank you ladies, I love shooting seniors so so much, and Morgan was a dream.

The Blacks [Family/Senior Combo]

Their name Black, and wearing black, I asked dad right off the bat … “are you here by force or …?” and before I could finish he chimed in “I’m a willing participant.” Awesome. 🙂 I really had so much fun with this family — Bill, Kim, Capital High senior Michael, and Fairmont Jr. High […]

Mary that is a very nice looking family! Great pictures.

Emma [2013 Senior]

What a fun afternoon session this was walking the streets of downtown Boise, taking in the warmth of the sun and the light cloud cover (a photographer’s dream) with beautiful Emma, a senior at Boise High. Of course her mom, Paula, came along to show me she hadn’t lost her mad-crazy-reflector-skills that she demonstrated when […]

Thank you SO much, Mary! You captured Emma’s natural beauty and radiance! I’m so proud of her, and we are very glad to have you as our photographer again this year. It was a lot of fun, and I am grateful to have gotten the chance to show off my fine reflector skills once again. (Anyone looking for a reflector holder, chat me up)!

I would love to have you take a family photo one of these days if we can ever get everyone back together again! 😀

Michelle J - May 18, 2013 - 10:05 PM

I love this beautiful girl so much! She has been my little sister since she was nine years old. She is amazing and just as beautiful on the inside as the out!! I have some many favorites, but love the iris picture, plus their a couple of others that brought tears to my eyes….she is so beautiful. Thank you for capturing her beauty as well as spirit!
