A Birthday Family Affair

Turning the B-I-G 70 is certainly something to celebrate and so my sister-and-brother-in-law, Vickie and Mark, hosted a family gathering for her mom, Jo Marie, in their beautiful back yard. The kids, grandkids, siblings, and friends were there to help celebrate and while I won’t post every combination taken, I will spotlight a few of the family. It […]

Sophie and Her Dad

Be ready for cuteness from this petite, sweet, and free-spirited 2-year old Sophie! I took these images in early November but her dad, Larry — and our realtor from Silvercreek — wanted me to keep them off my blog to surprise his wife for Christmas. I hear she loved them so I’m happy. 🙂 This […]

Oh these were just darling!!! What an adorable little lady he has on his hands. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when Mommy opened them…I bet it completely melted her. What a sweet gift idea.

Love her long blonde locks and that big teethy smile. What a fun age!!!

Tracey - December 30, 2013 - 8:10 AM

Thanks for the tears. These are such great pictures. Any Mother would love them. Great work Mary. Sophie is such a cutie and the Dad is such a good sport. I hope they have many happy years with that darling little girl.

Santa Sighting

My cousins, Becky and Steve, put on an impressive family gathering for around 45 of us every year before Christmas. Santa used to come years ago when our generation of kids were small, and now we have a new generation of little ones in the grandbabies. Santa and Mrs. Claus have somehow found the time with their […]

Megan - December 28, 2013 - 9:42 PM

Such a fun, fun tradition that has started!!! Thanks so much for organizing this, Mom and thanks Mr. and Mrs. Claus for being so jolly!

Next year Santa is only giving her a lollipop. I’ll get more excitement out of a 25 cent piece of candy!

The Jex Family

The Jex family recently moved here from Denver and called me after getting a referral from their realtor (who had picked up one of my business cards at a showing of our house — how cool!) Working with these 7 adults was so much fun, and Emily was just the icing on the cake when […]

The Cordum Kids

Thanksgiving means adult kids come home from college and that sometimes gives me opportunities to photograph them as in the children of Nic, a friend of ours. Russell, 20, attends Montana State in Bozeman and is majoring in Electrical Engineering. Sammy, 19, is attending the College of William and Mary in Virginia and is majoring […]

The Busacker’s

The Busacker’s get the award for being the family I’ve ever photographed in the coldest temperatures – 28 degrees this past Saturday morning! I’ll be honest, with five children I was worried, but it was for not as they were troopers and we went a full session plus some! Bret is an attorney at Hawley […]

Fairly Candid - December 1, 2013 - 6:38 PM

Yay! I’m so happy to hear you love them! Yes, Bret was kind to say he thought they turned out well, but it’s always the woman of the house that I like hearing from. 🙂 Thank you Siri, your family was a joy to work with. Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful, now onward to Christmas!
