Cassi and Her Cowboy

Meet James and Cassi, son and daughter-in-law to one of my best friends, Linda J., and friends to Mike and I in their own right. We knew James since he was just a small-fry when their family started attending our church, and we’ve known “Classy Cassi” — as I like to call her — since before they married. They will celebrate six years December 30 so congratulations you two! Cassi is a photographer as well so as intimidating as it might be to photograph another photographer, I was thrilled to have the opportunity. Cassie was the one who helped me out at the Wickham/Campbell wedding that I shot earlier in October and it would be fun to work with her on another wedding some day (hint, hint). These kids also host the “doggie hotel” for our Sammy on occasion and treat her like royalty. Good kids with good hearts is what they are, and I wish them the best blessings God has to offer. Hard to believe all this color was here just over a week ago!

I didn’t realize the parts of the words that would show or not show when I took these pictures. It doesn’t look very good to have the words “shut up” on the stone, now does it?! Curiosity has the best of me now to know what the whole quote reads.

A gentleman should always remove his hat when dippin’ a lady!

Great picts of two of my loves–my handsome son and beautiful daughter-in-law (really, just a daughter). Fine job once again, Mary and of course I’m not playing favorites with the subject matter!!

Mary,

James and I love the pictures. We can’t pick a favorite. I have looked at them over and over again, and once again you did an amazing job. We are going to have to purchase some frames :). Thank you so much!

Thanks everybody! I loved working with James and Cassie. We spent about 35 minutes together and we booked it from location to location to get in as much as we could. Loved what they were wearing and the love they have for one another.
