Birds of a Feather

I promise this post to be short and sweet — nothing like the maniac last one. Each June we camp at Sugar Loaf in Cascade and I love it because of all the birds you’ll find there. On our last day there I took my normal walk, but this time with camera in hand. Birds of a feather …

On this next one, look really really close to find baby Sandhill Crane leading the way.

That’s all folks … from Sugar Loaf and me to you. (Told you it would be short and sweet.) We had to look at this horrible view each day from our camp site. Don’t you feel sorry for us. 🙂 Love, Mary

Those birds were absolutely spectacular! I just may have to get a print of the one preparing for landing, and of the one holding the feather and. . .I might need them all! It is very handy to have a great friend who takes such stunning pictures. Another perk of having Mary as a besty!

I can definitely make that happen for you Linda. 🙂

These are stunning. You absolutely should do and post more nature photography.

Gorgeous! LOVED the first picture. And how crazy that they all had stuff in their mouths! Busy little birds!
