I’m back! The new site is finally up and running, I’ve had a week’s vacation, and now I’m ready to crank out the new posts! Thanks to those of you who have been patiently waiting for your images during this crazy time. I appreciate you! I’ve been busy with some great sessions, so be sure and check back often, or better yet, sign up for e-mail or RSS subscriptions in the menu bar above so you don’t miss a one.
So to start things rollin’, first up is Alex, an upcoming senior at Rocky Mountain High School. Alex is the first grandchild of my good friend, Mary, and if she doesn’t know me well enough from our friendship since Junior and Senior High, then she does from being my hairdresser this past 18 years. She has always been one of my Gramma role models and she loves her grandkids like no other. The three of us spent an afternoon together driving the backroads of Star and Eagle to take these shots — on one of the hottest days of the year mind you. It was 105 and while I melted into a puddle, Alex managed to keep all her make-up intact even while being a change artist in the back of my SUV. What a trooper and never a complaint! We had so much fun and literally shot for 3.5 hours before stopping and having dinner to celebrate Alex’s new title as a senior. She is quiet, loves school, works at a golf course, and has possible plans of attending Washington State for the nursing program. What a beauty you are, Alex, and may your last year be a positive and fun one.
