Simone at 3 Months

My youngest of four g-babes, Simone Olivia, is officially three months old! A few weeks ago she weighed 14 pounds and was 25″ long making her 90th percentile for weight and 100% percentile for height. She is taller and bigger than her sister was at this age, so I think we have a future basketball […]

So cute I love, love the ones with the white poofy feathery or was it furry stuff. Her beautiful smile and little feet in the air. Well done! Megan and Robby made some cute little girls!

Proud Mommy - July 31, 2012 - 6:51 AM

Holy macaroni- you ARE on top of your editing…but I’m assuming it’s because she’s so flipping cute you just HAD to get home and see them, right? LOVE them- favorite is, OK- they are all my favorite, especially #2 and #4. Thanks again and again!

lsj4157 - July 31, 2012 - 8:47 AM

Yeah, I agree now that I see the photos on my computer screen instead of my cell phone #2 and #4 are so precious, oh and #5 and #9 and. . . . - July 31, 2012 - 9:27 AM

You are too funny … two comments … wow, I am too lucky! She is a cute little chunk isn’t she? Thanks for the GREAT weekend. I hope you had as much fun and relaxation as I did.

Cathie Alonzo - July 31, 2012 - 10:12 AM

Hard to believe she is already 3 months old…wow! I love getting these kid updates. But I just gotta say this. The nickname “Moan” should be “Mone”. Okay? If it sticks, she may hate it in a few years!! - July 31, 2012 - 10:24 AM

Cathie, I can’t believe I’ve never picked up on that or that Megan didn’t correct me! Oh my! I’ve got it all changed in all the posts of done now. Phew! I could have given my g-babe a complex! No wonder she moans more around me (just kidding). Thanks for speaking up Cuz.

Roberta - July 31, 2012 - 5:33 PM

I agree, the one with the feathery background is so precious, she is truly a beautiful sweet baby! You can see the joy in her face that she knows she is very loved! and the giraff pics are so cute too! as I’ve said before, you are so blessed! - July 31, 2012 - 6:21 PM

Blessed? Yes. I. Am. Thanks Roberta. You too will one day have this experience.

Hannah Elise [Newborn]

Hannah Elise Gerichs was born July 9 at 10:54 pm and would you believe she weighed 10.7 pounds and was 21.5″ long. She was photographed at a perfect age of just 9 days old. Her mom had quite the struggle with this first baby after being two weeks overdue, but she’s here now and absolutely perfect in […]

Auntie Megan - July 27, 2012 - 3:06 PM

Oh man, Mom. She’s so flipping cute and you got so many good ones! I remember you saying at the end of it – “If I get 12 good ones I’ll be pleased”…and ahhhh!!! Ok, I have 3 favorites- here they are:

# 6 and #10 from the top…the b/w of her in the swaddle by the front door…and the first one of her and Leah. Ok, that’s four. Well, honestly- I like them all…I’m an Auntie in love.

Another job well done. Thanks for working so hard and long for us!

Oh, and that last one of my baby kills me. ♥

Jaclyn - July 24, 2012 - 12:26 PM

Amazing… brings a huge smile to my face to relive that blessed day again. They are an amazing couple and it’s so neat to see how God brings, molds, and shapes two in becoming one. =) - July 24, 2012 - 1:24 PM

Jaclyn, would love to know who you are, but guessing by your e-mail address that you are a runner yourself. It was such a beautiful wedding and I really appreciate your comment to the newly married. Mary

Mary Mouser! You are simply amazing! We can’t thank you enough for capturing so many special moments at the wedding! I can’t help but grin as I scroll through the pictures; I especially love the shot of Robby catching the two “grands” up in his arms as they race down the aisle. In my mind, I can hear the laughter and giggles, my smile stretches across my mouth as I take the memories in . . . thank you, dear friend! - July 26, 2012 - 4:54 PM

The Endless Smiles of Averi

I may have a new demographic to go after — 4 year olds! What a dream Averi was. Her eyes lit up, her smile lit up, and her personality lit up the entire hour we were together. At times she seemed much more mature than her mere 4-years, but underneath it all was a little […]

I know we are all prejudiced when it comes to our own grandbabies, though I don’t have any, I am the proud great aunt of some pretty special little people, BUT what a darling baby! Mary, love them all, each one made me smile even more than the last! Love the green hat too, tell Mirra’s parents/grandparents that they are truly blessed! - July 10, 2012 - 6:11 PM

Roberta, so great hearing from you again! I have to agree, this was a beautiful baby, especially her skin. Love all that hair too. As always, thank you for commenting. The new parents will love reading it. 🙂

Linda - July 10, 2012 - 9:23 PM

Oh my, I forget how incredibly tiny and utterly precious they are as newborns. Makes my four year old “grandbabies” seem like a pack of Incredible Hulks!! She is so beautiful and thoroughly loveable that it is absolutely no wonder that Grandma Julie and Aunt Emily couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces. Congratulations and many blessings to Melissa and Dan and the whole Stromer clan. (Can’t wait to see how easily little Mirra will wrap her Grandpa Terry around her chubby little finger!) Terrific job Mary–You are so able to capture the soul of your subjects in your photos–how you do it with a sleeping baby I’m pretty sure is a true God-given talent.) - July 10, 2012 - 9:37 PM

You’re back!!! Yay!!! Thanks Linda, I love that Dan and Melissa and the rest of the crew can revel in your comment. Oh and Terry’s a gonner — no doubt about it. Wink.

Emily - July 10, 2012 - 9:51 PM

I LOVE THEM!!! Oh Mary….you did a wonderful job. I think she is just the cutest thing and it won’t be long until I can braid her hair. I’m so excited that she is finally here. Thank you! - July 10, 2012 - 10:02 PM

I agree with you Em … she’s pretty dang cute and I think I know what cute is in a baby … I have four of them after all. 🙂 You’re going to have a ball with her.

Megan - July 10, 2012 - 10:04 PM

Ok, so besides my baby- this is my FAVORITE newborn shoot to date!!! Holy moly- she is adorable and I am loving the hands on cheeks pictures!!! The third from the top was my very favorite- I love that little chunky body all nestled in and twisted- so flipping sweet.

I want another (newborn) baby! (Can you believe I just said that???)

Diane Drotzman - July 11, 2012 - 10:19 AM

Mary you did such a wonderful job. Every picture of little Mirra is perfect but she looks so perfect. The second picture from the bottom is my favorite. I like the way the light is glowing off her beautiful little rosey cheeks and I love the hat. Purple is Mirra’s color. Dan and Melissa are going to be great parents. Congrat’s to the whole Stromer family.

Laura Higgs - July 14, 2012 - 8:14 PM

Stellar job as always and what a great ” subject “. Sweet potato pie she is cute!

Kathty - July 15, 2012 - 1:27 PM

Too cute for words! What a beautiful baby. She is so sweet and her skin looks so smooth and soft. Mary – great job – we’re gonna start calling you Mary ‘Geddes’ Mouser! - July 15, 2012 - 7:01 PM

I like Mary Ann Geddes better. Ha! In my dreams! Thanks Kathy. Wasn’t she just one of the prettiest babies ever (everyone’s g-babes excluded). 🙂

Aubrey - July 15, 2012 - 10:46 PM

Man alive, you are getting so GOOD! Seriously love every one of these!!!

Deanna - July 19, 2012 - 8:34 AM

Mary, you do a fantastic job! I love all the pictures!

molly rank - September 19, 2012 - 11:20 PM

Love these poses, Mary! If you’re just mastering your newborn poses, I cannot wait to see the future pics! So fantastic. Agree wholeheartedly on the sweet little lips and the beautiful hats.

Chad and Holly's Little Firecracker

Happy belated 4th everyone! I met Holly, Chad, and handsome little Ryker last fall for the first time when I took their family photos, and was so happy to get a call that they were ready for new pics! Ryker turns two in August and has changed so much — most noticeably in his height and […]

What do I NOT love about this post??? The third pic of Cheeky is my favorite- and I love my crazy Sydney’s “smiles” in the group shots.

Oh, but you have the weeks off- Simone was 8 weeks this past Saturday…don’t add weeks to my baby- it’s already going to fast. 😉

kathygrover - July 2, 2012 - 9:19 PM

I was going to vote for my favorite, but it’s a 3-way tie. Let’s just say that the first picture has something special because it looks like she is looking right inside you.

Angela - July 3, 2012 - 10:56 AM

Super cute! Love the purple blanket pics and ending the post with Jay doing ‘his thing’ with the spit up!

Diane Drotzman - July 9, 2012 - 5:24 PM

I love seeing all your grandbabies together. It must be so much fun having grandchildren. And they are all sooooooooooooo very cute. Thanks for sharing. - July 9, 2012 - 5:38 PM

They are soooo fun especially now that the babies smile their faces off! They coo and talk with little persuasion as well. What a difference just a few weeks make. You will one day have the experience — hang in there!

Jessica’s mom gave me a call that her daughter would be in town for a few days and needed some photos taken. It can be a little intimidating for the person in front of the camera to be natural when someone is saying “chin up, chin down, head to the right, head to the left, […]
